At Furhoffs Rostfria, we combine over 125 years of experience with innovation to create sustainable and high-quality stainless steel solutions. As a family-owned business in its fourth generation, we take pride in our long-term commitment to contributing to a sustainable society. Our goal is to continuously improve our operations to ensure responsible and sustainable production.
Environmental sustainability – a matter of course for us
At Furhoffs, we work to reduce our environmental impact by using 100% renewable energy in our production and through continuous improvements. We have invested in our own solar power system and optimized our production processes with new machinery technology to reduce our carbon footprint and produce with green energy.
The steel we use consists of up to 90% recycled material, and all our stainless-steel products are fully recyclable when their life cycle ends.
Through ongoing improvements and investments in energy-efficient solutions, we aim to minimize our environmental impact and ensure we do not harm the environment, neither for ourselves nor for future generations.
We also offer environmental product declarations (EPD) to provide our customers with insights into the environmental impact of our products, helping them make sustainable decisions for the future. For us, sustainability is about more than just the product’s life cycle – it encompasses the entire process, from design and production to recycling.

EPD - Environmental Product Declaration
At Furhoffs, we are committed to getting better every day. The Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is part of our dedication to quality and sustainability, providing valuable insights into the environmental impact of our products.
By analyzing the product's life cycle, climate, and environmental effects, the EPD offers detailed information on material usage, energy sources, transportation, and recyclability. This supports architects, designers, and builders in the creation of sustainable buildings, while also promoting circular construction. With standardized product categories and regulations, the EPD makes it easier to compare products and supports well-informed decisions on material selection and waste management for a sustainable future.
